We stayed here for 4 months during the summer at a full hookup campsite and I really enjoyed the surroundings and laid back hospitality of this campground. Pool and pond... read more were fun, great playground, and ice cream shop in the office was delightful. My only complaint was when it rained, our campsite would flood pretty bad, but we were in a permanent spot, the summertime weekend or week long spots looked really nice. Victor is very nice and all the campground staff were so sweet to myself and my babies. We like a more rustic, low key campground so this was a beautiful place to spend our summer in Wisconsin.

Well, it's been 3 weeks & I'm really impressed! Victor is a genuinely kind man. He's done an amazing job at getting this place ready for the season. On the weekend this place can get busy but by 10pm, it's dark & quiet. Folks respect your space but will offer a soda, beer, or dog treat as you walk your dog (we have 5 & no one bats an eye). I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to camp overnight, staying a month, or looking to park your camper for good.
Thanks for the ice cream, great grandboy impressed matchbox cars, tour directions, firewood, & making us feel welcome & at home. We may have to do this again in a couple of years!

I have never felt more welcome some place before like I do here. My kids love it and they love they can be kids here and I can feel they are safe. They explore the woods, swim in the pool and play at the play ground. This is a great place if you are looking for some where that is more relaxed and quiet.

Overall, good experience for the price we paid. Very reasonable prices. Not exceptional campground, but not bad by any means. I think this place has incredible potential in the future.... read more We also enjoy supporting veterans.
Negatives:
- The bathroom situation. I felt misled about the bathrooms on the website - most of them are portapotties that were often out of toilet paper. There's only 3 showers for the entire campground, and they weren't great. Only one bathroom with flush toilets and it was meh.
- We were told after setting up that we set up in the wrong spot. I counted 3 times on the map, and counted the sites, and am certain we were in the right spot. Thankfully we didn't have to move.
- We were near some VERY rowdy tent campers. The first night, they were extremely loud and drunk in the middle of the night. (see below for the positive outcome though)
Positives:
- Absolutely loved the swimming pond. We spent every free moment we could in the pond. It's clean, sandy, and perfect for my toddler.
- The site we had was incredibly spacious and an easy pull through. Loved the generous firewood delivery right to our site.
- The main store has everything you could need, as well as plenty of treats! We loved the slushie night.
- Loved all the options for kids: train rides, jumping pillow, pool, pond, playground, jumping pillow.
- Security listened well about the rowdy tent campers, and the next night was completely silent by 10pm.
